About Us

"As we observe children, we see the vitality of their spirit, the maximum effort put forth in all they do, the intuition, attention and focus they bring to all life’s events, and the sheer joy they experience in living.” — Dr. Maria Montessori, The Child, Society and the World

Elan Vital Montessori School serves toddler age children through six years old and is guided by the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. As an authentic Montessori School, EVM offers challenging and rewarding educational programs that are designed to build a strong academic foundation while nurturing the child’s social, emotional, physical and moral development.

Mission

Elan Vital Montessori School has a mission to create an optimal Montessori educational environment to enable each child to realize their full potential. Learn more about EVM's mission here.

Montessori Method

What is Montessori?

The approach focuses on independence, hands-on learning and a thoughtfully prepared environment that allows the child to grow in all the main developmental areas.  Learn about the Montessori philosophy here.

Élan Vital Montessori School admits students of any race, color, gender, national, or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, national, or ethnic origin in employment or in its administration of its educational policies, admission policies, financial aid programs, athletics, or other school administered programs. Admission decisions are based upon the space available and an evaluation of the suitability of EVM for each student.
